2023 Honda Civic Sedan LX | Efficient, Reliable & Well Equipped

Looking for a dependable, fuel-efficient and comfortable used sedan on Vancouver Island? This 2023 Honda Civic Sedan LX delivers the practicality, technology and proven reliability that have made the Civic one of Canada's most recognizable compact cars. With excellent fuel economy, a spacious interior and Honda Sensing safety technology, it's an ideal choice for commuting, family transportation or everyday driving throughout Duncan and the Cowichan Valley.

2.0L i-VTEC 4-Cylinder Engine

Power comes from Honda's proven 2.0-litre DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 138 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 rpm. It's paired with a smooth Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive for predictable handling and efficient everyday performance.

The Civic LX also features Honda's Eco Assist system, ECON mode and idle-stop technology to help maximize efficiency. Independent front and multi-link rear suspension provides a comfortable, composed ride whether you're travelling around town or cruising the Trans-Canada Highway.

Excellent Canadian Fuel Economy

Efficiency is one of the Civic LX's strongest advantages. Canadian fuel consumption ratings are approximately 7.7 L/100 km city, 6.0 L/100 km highway and 6.9 L/100 km combined. The Civic uses regular gasoline and features a 46.9-litre fuel tank, making it an economical option for drivers putting on plenty of kilometres around Vancouver Island.

Comfortable & Practical Interior

The 2023 Civic Sedan LX provides seating for five with a clean, modern cabin designed around everyday usability. Features include heated front seats, automatic climate control, push-button start, remote engine starter, tilt and telescopic steering column and a 60/40 split-folding rear seatback.

Smartphone connectivity makes it easy to stay connected while travelling, while Bluetooth, USB connectivity and steering wheel-mounted controls help keep important functions within easy reach. A multi-angle rearview camera adds convenience when reversing and parking.

Honda Sensing Safety Technology

The Civic LX comes equipped with an impressive collection of Honda Sensing driver-assistance technologies. Features include Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Additional safety equipment includes Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, four-wheel Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist, auto high beams and an electronic parking brake with automatic brake hold.

Practical Size with Generous Cargo Space

The Civic Sedan combines compact exterior dimensions with impressive interior space. The Canadian-spec LX offers approximately 419 litres of trunk capacity, a 2,735 mm wheelbase and generous front and rear passenger room. Fold down the 60/40 split rear seatback when additional cargo flexibility is required.

The LX rides on 16-inch wheels with P215/55R16 all-season tires, providing a comfortable ride and sensible replacement tire costs for year-round Vancouver Island driving.
